I too am in shock with Rosemarie's passing. We were childhood friends from Kindergarten to 8th grade at All Saints Elementary School. Gloria Fleming and I lived in the same apartment building along with Donna Korzenowski. Rosemarie lived around the corner from us on Lafayette Street.

On Christmas Eve we would go over to her house, as her Mom and Dad always had a nice spread of food, and we were always invited to share and partake of the goodies.

Rosemarie, may you be at peace and reunited with your Mom and Dad.

Gone too soon, but loved by many.

The shock and sadness of my childhood friend's passing is still with me and will be for a long time to come. From kindergarten to the 8th grade in our section of Jersey City, called Lafayette, we were joined at the hip. I believe I spent more time in her family's apartment than in my own! We were close, but not carbon copies of each other. She, Italian and me, Irish. Both fiercely independent but loyal to each other. After reconnecting after 47 years, our conversations, often lasting 5 or more hours were mostly relegated to that period of time and our school activities (we had 2 bowling alleys in our Lyceum (basement)!! And the boys....oh, we liked the boys and they liked us! Oh, Rosemarie, I just spoke with you in June after you came back from Cape Cod. You were just fine and happy. What happened? Your sudden and unexpected passing is haunting me. Will someone send me an email and tell me how I lost my my beautiful friend? May God reign down his graces upon her family to deal with this loss. Rest in Peace, Rosemarie, until we meet again. All my love, Gloria
