My family and I are very grateful for the exceptional services provided by Cataudella Funeral Home. When I reached out to Cataudella to initiate the process for my mother’s funeral services, it was not an easy phone call to make. I called outside of normal business hours, but they answered the phone right away. The staff member patiently answered my questions and informed me of the next steps. Christina Dusablon, our funeral director, provided outstanding service. Her compassionate demeanor provided us comfort when we were planning the services to honor my mother. She is very detailed, respectful, and caring. I contacted Christina after the funeral services, and she was still timely in her response and helped me fulfill a request. The funeral attendants were attentive, helpful, and professional. During an extremely difficult and heartbreaking time, we were able to carry out an intimate funeral service for our beloved mother thanks to the professionalism and attentiveness of Cataudella Funeral Home. I am writing on behalf of my family in order to send our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the professionals at Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen. On June 8, 2021, Raymond J. F., Sr. passed away while in hospice less than a mile away from Cataudella's. A couple of hours after he passed, we called Cataudella and they were there within 25 minutes to retrieve Ray, Sr. The initial care, compassion, and reverence displayed by Mr. Greg Gallagher and Mr. Christopher Chetsas was noticeable.
The reason why I say this is that during a break in military service, I served as a police officer in Atlanta, and during this period there were many occasions when I had to deal with deceased individuals. In my experience, the attitude and demeanor often displayed by many funeral homes was one of what we used to call in the military of "tagging and bagging" the deceased. Get in, get them, get them out, on to the next task. The patience, compassion, and empathy that was displayed by Greg and Chris was exemplary. To be quite honest, I didn't know how it would go and asked my sister to remove my mother to the master bedroom. Those two men set the tone for the rest of our experience.
To say that our experience was excellent is an understatement. All of the crew at Cataudella were simply outstanding. Being a small business owner myself, I could tell they are always looking for ways to not only compassionately serve the customer, but build a better and more efficient business. The efficiency, prepared systems for passing and processing paperwork and all the associated tasks that go with a funeral made the administrative load on my family that much less. We showed up, Greg got with us in a room, and we were off and running. My sister and I walked out breathing a huge sigh of relief, we looked at each other in the car and I told her, "That crew is on the ball. Greg and his people have this." In an unsteady and emotional time like that, for an organization to be able to do that for any family is a huge deal.
I also want to specifically thank Greg for getting the veteran's burial and firing detail, and my father's casket lid with his rank and U.S. Army Seal. I am sure he was looking on from above and was thrilled. The uniform and the Army always held a special place in his heart, he recognized that it shaped him and made him the man he was. He was forever grateful to the Army and for what it did for his life; somewhere deep inside, he realized the Army was the father he never had. Thank you for doing that.
Although Greg and Chris were the face of the effort, I also want to recognize these professionals who were tremendously influential in making all this happen. The care, compassion, and professionalism that they displayed were tremendously comforting during an exceptionally trying time for our family; Doug Sears, Christina Dusablon, Joyce Feugill, and Jeannie Chetsas. Again, I cannot say enough about the crackerjack outfit that is being run at Cataudella's. Without hesitation or any reservation, I would recommend Cataudella Funeral Home to another family. A granite tile with my mother etched on it arrived at my home yesterday afternoon.  It's beautiful. I'm overwhelmed by the generous gift, which I have brought to my office and is on my desk now as I type this note.  Thank you for your ongoing support of our family. The photo we chose reflects how we all want to remember her.  She was healthy, happy and vivacious. That picture was taken while she was in a gondola in Venice, Italy.Italy was her favorite country, not surprising since she was an Italian-American.

My sister and I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the wonderful service that you and your staff provided during a most difficult time. Your expertise and guidance helped us stay focused on our family and not worry about coordinating her funeral.  Your staff is absolutely top notch.  They were caring, courteous, helpful and unbelieveably polite.  Their calm, peaceful and knowledgable approach made all of our guests very comfortable and welcomed. Their professionalism (and yours) is something that other service providers should follow.  The DVD that you produced for us was incredible.  Your staff took our pictures and turned them into a very heart-warming and professionally prepared presentation that had our guests glued to the display.  The extra laminating services that you provided for us was above and beyond and was very much appreciated.  Your facility is one of the most beautiful that we have ever seen.  The cleanliness, the atmosphere and the decor was perfect.  We really appreciated the fact that we had two rooms. It allowed us plenty of room for our guests and it was decorated and arranged in a very peaceful and calm manner.  We were also very impressed with the hearse and the limousine.  Late model vehicles that were very classy and well cared for.  Again, other providers should follow your lead.  We can't say enough about the wonderful services that we received.  We will be recommending your services anytime we are asked.  We thank you and all of your staff for making us feel welcome and helping us through one of the most difficult times in our lives.
