Great grandmother, grandmother, mother, wife, sister, friend, seamstress, Rosaria Cuoco was many things but to me she was Nana Rosie. As a child, she was the grandmother who watched me during the day. As a teenager, I spent summers with her and my Grandfather at Cape Cod. She taught me at a young age the importance of finances. I’ll never forget saving up enough money for a Super Nintendo. We waited until Tuesday and headed to Bradlees, they were running a sale and we could save another 5% from their Tuesday senior citizen discount. In fact, she never stopped teaching me important lessons. Even after I graduated college, she made sure to mail me any articles from her local paper that I might benefit from. She may no longer be with us, but the memories I have of her will be forever cherished. In fact, my fondest Christmas memories are of her dishing out perfectly cooked raviolis from the biggest Italian serving bowl you can imagine. All of them painstakingly made from scratch.

I am so very saddened by the loss of my Godmother Rose. She never forgot me and always sent me a birthday card. We enjoyed many visits on the Cape, having lunch at Gino's and Godmother's Rose favorite place, Doyles" with my mother, Ida, as well as after my mother passed away. Godmother Rose was my mother's Maid of Honor and I have a beautiful wedding picture of them. I will never, ever forget you , Godmother Rose. I love you and will really miss you. May you rest in peace. Love, your goddaughter, Virginia
