Milena A. Rosado

Milena A. (Peña) Rosado, 54, of Methuen passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side after an eight month battle with Gastric Cancer.  She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on July 8, 1962 to the late Andres and Edita (Rojas) Peña.

Milena moved to New York in 1979 with her family and made her way to MA in the late 80's where she had resided ever since. Throughout her time in MA, she worked in Fantini, Malden Mills, MA-Com and ultimately as a clerk in the tax collector's department of the City Hall of Lawrence.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Arcenio and Eunice Matias.
Milena is survived by her son, Robert Rosado of San Diego, CA, and her daughter, Edimil Rosado of Methuen, MA. Milena is also survived by her siblings, Ismael, Porfirio, and Santiago Matias, Agustin, Felix and Orlando Peña, Eva Rojas, and Nereida Matias-Brito.  She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Milena lived a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, and music. Her world consisted of her two children, family, and friends. Milena's time was best spent sharing her love of cooking with the people that she loved the most. Her vibrant spirit and infectious personality has left an unforgettable impression with every person that has met her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Monday, May 29, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen.  Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at St. James Church, 185 Winter St. Haverhill.  Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
