Marie-Paule (Pelletier) Labrie, 76, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Lawrence General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in St. Benoit de Packington, Quebec, Canada and was the daughter of the late Louis Pelletier and Leone (Martin) Pelletier.
She was raised and educated in Canada and migrated to the United States in 1964 settling in Lawrence. She loved to cook and keep a clean home, but truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were a joy and her great-grandchildren were a delightful addition to her family and who brought her much happiness.
Marie-Paule is survived by her husband of 57 years, Guy Labrie; her loving daughters, France Michaud and her husband Serge of Hudson, NH, Claire Labrie and her wife, Sandy Bell of Bedford, NH, and Louise Dupuis and her husband, Pierre of Dennison, Ohio; her cherished grandchildren, Erika Whitcomb and her husband Jason, Amy Michaud, Luc Dupuis and his wife, McKell, and Jessica Maholm, and her husband Matt; and her three great- grandchildren, Zayva Morain, Zeegan Dupuis, and Austin Whitcomb. She also leaves her siblings, Louiselle Moreau of Sherbrooke, Canada, Nicole Michaud of St. Rose, Canada, Marcelle Gagnon and her husband Jean-Guy of Lawrence, Simone Clavette of Sherbrooke, Canada, Lorraine Pinet and her husband Claude of Lawrence, John Pelletier and his companion Huguette Perrault of Sandown, NH, Viateur Pelletier and his wife Fernande of Sherbrooke; her sister-in-law, Huguette Pelletier of Bromptonville, Canada; and a large number of nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Jean-Paul Pelletier.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Lawrence.
