Margaret Mugavero

Margaret (Buro) Mugavero, 100, of Methuen passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Cedar View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of Joseph and Madeline (Razzano) Buro.

Margaret was raised and educated in Brooklyn, NY and moved to the Lawrence area in 1936 and worked in area mills. She retired from Raytheon where she worked as a group leader in wiring and soldering.

Margaret attended Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church and was a member of St. Rita’s Sodality. She also belonged to the Ladies Lodge of the Sons of Italy. She enjoyed cooking and movies.

Margaret was predeceased by her husbands, James DeStefano and Anthony Mugavero.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Gallagher and Joan Goudreault both of Salem, NH and her grandsons, Joseph and Scott Gallagher both of Derry, NH.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visiting hour on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visiting at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence.
