Angela, I wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear of Joe's death. I very much remember him from Mary Immacuate but I never knew he was your brother. He was always very attentitive and very comfortable in his ministry at MI. There is no way of knowing how many people experienced comfort from his ministry there. Be assured of my prayers and remembrances for him. My best to all the Bishops. Father Bill

We want to let all of you know, how sincerely sorry we are for the loss of your beloved Joseph..We are sure he touched many people's lives.It is always difficult anytime we lose a loved one in death.What my wife Vilma and I want to say is the best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator Jehovah God..Pour out your heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by the peace of God that surpasses all understanding."(Philippians 4:6,7)Also allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible..Make a list of comforting scriptures. You may even want to memorize a few of them.Having such thoughts to ponder over may be especially helpful at night when you are alone and find it hard to sleep.
Here are some comforting bible verses that have really helped us.
God feels for you in your pain. Psalm 55:22; 1Peter 5:7
God patiently listens to the prayers of his servants. Psalm 86:5; 1Thessalonians 5:17
God misses people who have died. Job 14:13-15
God promises to resurrect the dead. Isaiah 26:19; John 5:28,29

Uncle Joe came to visit me once a week from the moment I was born. He was a very devoted, fun, and loving uncle. He used to talk to me hours on end, and gave me countless advice and guidance. He was not only my favorite uncle, but my best friend. He will be missed everyday and a prayer will be said in his name. I love you Uncle Joe! Until we meet again my dear friend.
