Ziad Moussa

Ziad “Zee” Moussa, 51, of Methuen, MA, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Deir al Qamar, Lebanon and came to Lawrence 40 years ago. He quickly became a beloved part of his local community and graduated with the Lawrence High School class of 1989.

Mr. Moussa worked in the pizza business with his brother Jihad. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a member of St. Anthony Maronite Church. He was known by all for his smile, his creativity, his sharp wit, his helping hand, and always wearing his heart on his sleeve. Zee’s generosity and open-mindedness was known by friends and family across the country and across the world. To meet Ziad was to have an instant friend for life.

He is survived by his wife, Sara (Restom) Moussa; daughter, Sasha; son, Jacob; mother, Antoinette Moussa; brother, Jihad and his wife Emily Moussa; sisters, Hiam and her husband Jean Abourjeili, and Ghada and her husband Milad Rizkallah; his nieces and nephews, Dalia and her husband Rony Fakhry, Chadi, Jessica, Danny and his wife Maria Abourjeili, Rachel, Monica, Pascale, Dylan, Andreas, Marcus, and Johnny.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. His funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
