Zachary J. Gordon, age 16, of Haverhill passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Robert J. and Kristy A. Gordon.
Born and raised in Melrose, Zachary and his family later moved to Haverhill, a community they enjoyed very much. Graced with an infectious smile, Zachary could make you feel better in just a moment. His loveable personality was impossible to resist. He enjoyed watching funny videos as well as singing and dancing with those closest to him, sure to display his great laugh. He also enjoyed playing with his toys, always willing to share them with his parents, whom he loved more than anything in the world, their presence his most prized time. He made many great friends at Evergreen.
Zachary was predeceased by his grandfather, Windsor A. Gordon.
In addition to his parents, Robert and Kristy, Zachary is survived by his grandmother, Audrey L. (Earle) Gordon of Melrose, MA; sister, Kayla A. Godfrey and her husband Jerry of Haverhill, MA; uncles and aunts, Kenneth A. Gordon and his wife Rhea of Lowell, MA, Jane E. Corriveau and her husband Corey of Dudley, MA, Douglas E. Gordon of Melrose, MA, Cory Cole and her husband Cory of Peabody, MA, Wendy Biegon and her husband Perry of Belgrade, ME; and many cousins.
Zachary’s family would like express their deep appreciation to Zachary’s Uncle Derrick for all of his support and many acts of kindness.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visitation on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 between the hours of 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Cataudella Funeral Home. Interment will be held in private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Zachary’s memory may be made to the Haverhill Public School System by making checks payable to the Haverhill Public School System, c/o Superintendents Office, 4 Summer Street, Room 208, Haverhill, MA 01830.
