William M. Wojnar

William M. Wojnar, 68, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully April 18, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Frank and Helene (Caldwell) Wojnar, born and raised in Methuen and was a lifelong resident.

Bill attended the Tenney School and Methuen High School and upon graduation he went on to earn his associates degree in accounting while attending Suffolk University and Northern Essex Community College. He worked most of his life in the shipping and receiving industry working for different companies over the length of his career. Bill enjoyed playing tennis, hockey, playing 45s, scratch tickets and Pokeno in his spare time. Boston sports teams were his favorite and he enjoyed watching all of the games. Most of all he enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with the love of his life, Rosemary Tasca.

A devout Catholic, he was a member of Holy Trinity Parish for many years before their closing when he joined of St. Lucy Parish.

Bill is survived by his longtime companion, Rosemary Tasca, two aunts; and many cousins and friends.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers and workers at Whittier Rehab and Prescott House for their kindness and compassion towards Bill and his family during the past three years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A service will follow immediately at 11:00AM. Burial will be private.

Due to COVID19 restrictions a celebration of life for Bill will be held at a later date.

As of the latest update, we are able to offer visitation periods and funeral services in the funeral home or at a church.
·Please be mindful during visiting hours to keep your condolences brief so that others may offer theirs as well.
·Gathering in the lobby is not allowed so that we may adhere to health code mandates.
·Facemasks are required while inside the funeral home or church.
