William F. Gebala

William F. Gebala, 62, of Methuen, MA, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.

Born in Lawrence, MA, William was a lifelong resident of the Merrimack Valley in Methuen. He was a graduate of Lawrence Technical School and worked with the maintenance department at the Salem, NH and Methuen Public Schools. He was a parishioner of St. Lucy Church and a member of the Sons of Italy in Methuen, where he enjoyed playing Bocce.

Predeceased by his father, Walter F. Gebala, William is survived by his wife, Fiordaliza (Almonte) Gebala; mother, Antoinette (Cataldo) Gebala of Lawrence; children: Michael Gebala and his wife Amelia of FL, Jennifer Gebala of Londonderry, NH, Christopher Gebala and his wife Taylor of Manchester, NH, stepchildren, Eric Rodriguez of NY and Joel Rodriguez of FL; sister, Linda McMenamon of Methuen; grandchildren, Gabriel, Peter, Emily, Ryan, Julian, Anthony, and Leila; uncle, Anthony Cataldo of NY; nephews, Brad and Thomas McMenamon; and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 10, 2020, from 3:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
