William G. Beekman

William G. ”Butch” Beekman, 76, of Sandown, NH, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 19, 1941 in Boston to the late Myles and Dorothy (O’Neill) Beekman.

William was in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class. He was employed by Sunbeam Bread and was a delivery truck driver for DHL. He enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, going to Foxwoods, watching sports while eating his Cheez-Its, and most importantly spending as much time possible with his family. William also loved to karaoke big time.

William was predeceased by his wife, Ellen (Burke) Beekman.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Doreen Dawes of Methuen, Lisa Morris and her husband, Victor of California, Kelly Beekman of Methuen, Jill Galante and her fiancé, Joel Linksy of California, and Heather Dubois and her husband, Chip of Sandown, NH; grandchildren, Alissa, Shannon, Francesco, Dominic, Fabrizio, Myles, Samantha, Elisabetta, Zachary, Tori, Ellen, and Leo; and son-in-law, Jim Galante. He will be sadly missed by his family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jessica, Yahaira, Carolyn, and Robin for the wonderful care they provided to William and to his family.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. His funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 14th at 9:00 AM at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Burial will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street in Peabody.
