Viola Panarello

Viola (Laudani) Panarello, 97, of Methuen passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Nevin’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Murgia) Laudani.

Viola was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1939, and also the MacIntosh Business School class of 1941. She retired from the Massachusetts Division of Employment Security where she worked as a manager for forty years.

Viola was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Panarello; her brother, Angelo Laudani, and her sister, Theresa Capriole.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral mass at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence. Entombment will be in St. Mary – Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence. By the request of the family there will be no visiting hours.
