Victor Nastasia of Exeter, NH passed away at his home surrounded by his family on December 20, 2020.
A loving husband and father, he will be sorely missed. Victor played football at Lawrence High School and attended St. Michael’s College. He had a long career in the tobacco industry with Liggett & Myers and eventually retired from Swisher International.
A board member at Exeter Country Club for many years, Victor enjoyed playing golf there. He loved sports in general; a favorite was skiing, mostly with his children and grandchildren. He was a big fan and proud grandfather at all his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was happily married for sixty-six years to his high school sweetheart, Christine Lanni, who predeceased him.
Victor is survived by his sons, Victor Nastasia of Carson City, NV and Matthew Nastasia and his wife Elizabeth of Hampton, NH; daughter, Christine Kling, and her husband Paul of Hampton, NH; grandchildren, Maria Grace Nastasia, Angela Morgan, and her husband Adam, Victor William Nastasia, Matthew Nastasia, Michael Nastasia, Erica Nastasia, Mark Kling, and Jessica Kling; and great-grandson, Adam Morgan.
A private service was held shortly after his passing, at Cataudella Funeral Home, a catholic mass was held at Holy Rosery Church, and interment at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Donations can be accepted for St. Michael’s Church, 9 Lincoln St., Exeter, NH 03833 or Holy Rosery Church, Corpus Christi Parish, 35 Essex St., Lawrence, MA 01840 or any church of your choosing.
