Vasiliki Katsoulis

Vasiliki “Bessie” (Kakas) Katsoulis passed away peacefully on July 8, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Krokees, Greece on July 29, 1934.

In 1960, Vasiliki married Demetrios Katsoulis and came to America, where she lived her life as a devoted wife and mother of three children. She loved cooking amazing Greek dishes and pastries for her family. She loved and cared for her grandchildren immensely, and enjoyed spending winters in Florida.

She is survived by her children, George Katsoulis and his fiance, Aleena Harney of Amherst, NH, Nick Katsoulis and his wife, Ida of Hampton, NH, and Joanna Dendrolivanos and her husband, Christopher of Matthews, NC. She was a loving and cherished grandmother to Melanie, James, Christopher, Katrina, Lukas, and Demi. She is also survived by her brothers, Vasilios Kakas and his wife, Dimitra of West Roxbury and Dimitri Kakas and his wife, Jenny of Sharon as well as many nieces and nephews.

Vasiliki was predeceased by her husband, Demetrios to whom she was married for forty-three years. She was also predeceased by her brothers, George Fondas, Christos Kakas, and sister Katerina Kalorgeracos.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a celebration of Vasiliki’s life on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 71 Chandler Road in Andover on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Burial service to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
