Vanessa M. (Annaloro) Dexter, 65, of Methuen passed away suddenly Monday, March 19, 2018 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Kattar) Annaloro.
Raised and educated in Methuen, Vanessa was a graduate of Tenney High School, class of 1970 and American International College, where she received her Bachelor’s degree. She met and married the love of her life, James Dexter, in 1977. Vanessa loved crafting, quilting, sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her family. She was a parishioner at St. Monica Church.
She is survived by her husband of forty years, James Dexter; two sons, Aaron J. Dexter and his wife, Heather of Hudson, NH, and Andrew J. Dexter and his wife, Kimberly of Derry, NH; sister, Lila Annaloro and her husband, William Lopriore of Wayland; brother, William Annaloro of Methuen; brother, Leonard Annaloro of Charlotte, NC; cherished granddaughter, Brielle L. Dexter of Hudson, NH; loving niece and nephew, Julia and Jonathan Lopriore; several cousins and extended family members.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Friday, March 23, 2018 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
