Timothy J. Meyers, Jr.

Timothy J. Meyers, Jr., 28, of Methuen passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.  He was born in Lowell and is the son of Timothy, Sr. and Mary Ann (Garabedian) Meyers of Methuen.

Timothy was raised in Methuen and graduated from Central Catholic High School. He then graduated summa cum laude from Providence College in RI.  He worked for McAdams Financial in Boston and also bartended for Russell House Tavern in Cambridge and the Burro Bar in Boston.  He volunteered many times during the holiday season at the Boys and Girls Club in Lawrence.

Besides his parents, Timothy is survived by his sister, Dr. Kristen Dix and her husband, Dr. Craig Dix of Providence, RI; maternal grandfather, Souren Garabedian of Andover; and his nephew, Alexander Dix.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Kathleen (Mitides) Garabedian; his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Elaine (Kohl) Meyers; and his uncle, Gary Meyers

Tim was loved by his family and many friends and will be greatly missed for his wonderful sense of humor and caring personality.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.  His funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex St. in Andover.  Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
