Theresa L. Ward

Theresa L. (Deschesne) Ward, 78, of Lawrence passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, at Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Simonne (LaFontaine) Deschesne.

Raised in Lawrence, Theresa was a graduate of St. Ann High School. She worked for Dyer-Clark in Lawrence and retired from New England Spring Water in North Reading, where she worked as an administrative assistant.

Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Ward; her brother, Henry Deschesne; and her sister-in-law, Cecile Deschesne.

Theresa is survived by her nephews, Raymond Deschesne and his wife Angela of Somersworth, NH and Virgil Hammonds and his wife Amy of ME; brother-in-law, John Ward and his wife Diana of CA; as well as many cousins; and dear friends, Claudette, Jenifer, Donna, Courtney, and Marc Donahue.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
