Thelma (Todd) Kennedy, 93, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital on November 16th, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
Thelma was born in Lawrence, MA, daughter of the late Adam and Gertrude (Lahey) Todd. She was a 1945 graduate of Lawrence High School. Thelma started her career as a telephone operator at AT&T and retired 40 years later as an Administrative Assistant from NYNEX.
Thelma enjoyed traveling with her late husband Ray, Saturday lunch dates with her friends, bowling, trips to the casino and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed visiting and spending time with her late brother Adam in Connecticut.
Along with her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her husband of twenty-eight years, James Raymond Kennedy, and siblings; Pauline Clark, Arthur Roberge, and Adam Todd Jr.
She will be greatly missed and is survived by her children, Patricia Santilli, of Methuen, MA, Sharon O’Malley and her husband Mark of Methuen, MA, John McCarthy and his wife Kathleen of Salem, NH; grandchildren, Robert Santilli and his wife Justene, Lisa Santilli and her husband Nick Predko, Allison Mangan and her husband William, Kevin O’Malley, John McCarthy, Erin McCarthy; great-grandson Jack Mangan and several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
At the family’s request, all services will be private.
