Steven J. Martin

Steven J. Martin, 52, of Lawrence passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Lawrence and is the son of Leonel and Pauline (Beaudin) Martin of Lawrence.

Steven was raised and educated in Lawrence. He worked as a machine operator for Valcro Inc. in Manchester, NH. He took pride in everything he did, including his restored 442 Oldsmobile and his motorcycle. He loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. He loved life, his family and friends meant everything to him. Though he enjoyed going for rides on his bike and watching the patriots and eating a good steak, his love for his girlfriend is what brought him the most joy. His eyes lit up with pride in her presence.

He was predeceased by his brother in law, Nyle Dutton.

Besides his parents, Steven is survived by his significant other, Maria Cordeiro and her daughters, Jessica and Nazarett Fonseca; siblings, Darline Fortin and her husband Jerry of Chester, NH, Lionel Martin and his wife Patty of Nashua, NH, Roger Martin of Lawrence, Doreen Dutton of Andover and Kevin Martin of Lawrence. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.
