Steven A. Lindsay

Steven A. Lindsay, age 82, of Paradise Valley, AZ, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Elizabeth Ann (Fichera) Lindsay, with whom he shared thirty-nine wonderful years in marriage. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of John K. and Hilda W. (Webber) Lindsay.

A graduate of Temple University, Steven later received an Executive MBA from Harvard University. He enjoyed a long career in the semiconductor equipment industry with Applied Materials, retiring from Lam Research as Group Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Research.

Passionate about life and not one to sit idle, Steven was an avid car collector who enjoyed traveling, especially to destinations in Italy. He loved to settle down at the end of the day and read. Time spent with his family meant everything to him, holiday events where they all gathered were always sure to bring a smile to his face.

Generous in heart and spirit he served on several boards including Mississippi State College of Engineering and Central Catholic High School.

In addition to his wife Liz, Steven is survived by his children, Chad Lindsay and his wife Galadriel of Lincoln, CA, Jacqueline Wholey and her husband Dennis of Fort Myers, FL, and Stuart Lindsay and his wife Stephanie of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrea, Joshua, and Jacob; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation hours on Monday, June 21, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA.
