Stephen Carlisle

Stephen M. Carlisle, 55, of Lawrence, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 2, 2018. He was born in Portsmouth, VA on January 24, 1963 to the late Norman and Anne (Collins) Carlisle.

Educated in the Lawrence school system, Stephen was employed in the landscaping business, most recently at St. Mary - Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. Some of his favorite hobbies were working with wood and mechanics. He enjoyed fixing old scooters and bikes, and woodworking projects with his daughter, Destiny. He loved a good laugh, a great joke, and spending time with his family and beloved dog, Sergeant. Above all, Stephen’s most treasured moments were spent with his loving wife of seventeen years, Vicki, and their cherished daughter, Destiny. Together, they enjoyed camping, trips to the mountains, vacationing in Florida and Maine, and going on cruises.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Vicki-Jeanne (Patnaude) Carlisle of Lawrence; his daughter, Destiny Carlisle of Lawrence; stepchildren, Chablis Roy and her fiancé, Joseph De La Cruz of Portland, ME, and Quianna Zaetz and her husband, Justin of Lawrence. Also among his survivors are his siblings, Jeanne Russell and her husband, William of Salem, NH, James Carlisle and his wife, Donna of Lawrence, Michael Carlisle and his wife, Cheryl of Rochester, NH, William Carlisle and his wife, Stephanie of Methuen, Elizabeth Beaulieu of Freemont, NH; and his sister-in-law, Laurie Carlisle of Lawrence. He also leaves many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Stephen was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Carlisle; and his brother-in-law, Marc Beaulieu.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will follow calling hours at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made in Steve’s memory to the Destiny Carlisle Memorial Fund at TD Bank, 228 Haverhill Street, Methuen, MA 01844.
