Scherry A. Carr

Scherry A. (Mezzapelle) Carr, 69, of Methuen, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2020, surrounded by friends and family.  Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Thelma (Bartlett) Mezzapelle.

Raised and educated in Lawrence, Scherry was a licensed realtor and worked for Century 21 for many years and was also a licensed hairdresser.  She was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Scherry is survived by her children, William Carr and his wife Meghan of South Weymouth, MA, Ryan Carr and his former wife Meghan Carr of Windham, NH, Maria Ivers and her husband William, Jr. of Hooksett, NH, and Dana Carr of Burlington, MA; brothers, Leo Mezzapelle of Florida and Stephen Mezzapelle of Arizona; sister, Maria Hallee and her husband Paul of Salem, NH; her grandchildren, William, III, Cady, Elliora, Andrew, Chloe, Reagan, and Jude.  She also leaves her nephew, Steven and niece, Marissa, many other cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 2:00-5:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen.  Funeral services will be held promptly at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to His Mansion Ministries, 395 Wolf Hill Road, Deering, NH 03244 or at hismansion.com.
