Sandra L. Contorelli

Sandra L. (Hamlin) Contorelli, 76, passed on Thursday, December 28, 2017, after a long illness.
Sandra was born in Lynn and graduated from Newburyport High School Class of 1959. She also lived in Groveland, Rowley and N. Andover. Sandra worked briefly for Raytheon before starting her family. She also worked several years for the Methuen School System.

Sandra loved life and had a positive impact on everyone she met. She was a loyal fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. She loved music of any kind, and could be found most Saturday afternoons watching a Polka program. She enjoyed doing ceramics, giving many of her pieces to family or friends.

Her passing leaves a great hole in our hearts. She will be missed though her spirit felt.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard L. Contorelli, Sr; children, Donna M., Mark J., and David W.; grandchildren, Anthony Devine, Nathan D. and Matthew P. Contorelli, all of Methuen; sisters, Audrey (Cummings) Larssen of Berlin, Margaret (Hamlin) Grant of N. Attleboro, and Jacquelyn Hamlin of Hudson; sisters-in-law, Linda M. Contorelli of Methuen and Lee-Ann (MacArthur) Hamlin, wife of the late Stephen P. Hamlin, of Berlin. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Richard L. Contorelli, Jr.; parents, John W. and Hazel M. (Soucy) Hamlin; sister, Dorothy (Dusty) (Hamlin) Mathews; and brothers, John W. Jr., and Stephen P. Hamlin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
