Ryan M. Thistle

Ryan Matthew Thistle, 43, of Hudson, NH, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 2, 2018. Born in Malden, MA, he was the son of Bruce Thistle and Kathleen (Sarno) Coppola.

He graduated from Billerica High School, class of 1993 and went on to U-Mass, Amherst, where he received his Bachelor’s degree. Ryan loved spending time with family and friends, most especially, his adoring daughter, Emma. He was a true entertainer, with a charismatic personality. He left an enduring mark on his family and friends, for whom the world will now be a bit duller without his infectious smile that would light up a room. He will be very dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Grenon) Thistle of Hudson, NH; daughter, Emma Rose Thistle; mother, Kathleen (Sarno) Coppola and her husband, John Coppola of Methuen; father, Bruce Thistle and his wife, Carol Lynn of Norwood; sister, Taryn Spinazzola and her husband, David of Reading; step-brothers/sisters, Danielle and Thomas Conlin, Justin and Lisa Coppola; parent-in-law, Bruce and Darlene Grenon of Windham, NH; brother-in-law, Scott Grenon and his wife, Colleen of Windham, NH. He also leaves behind several uncles, aunts, cousins, and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Monday, April 9, 2018 from 8:30 - 10:30 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen.
