Rosalie M. LoPinto

Rosalie M. LoPinto, 70, of Methuen, MA, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Lawrence General Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on September 12, 1953, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Susan (Fleming) LoPinto.

In 1986, Rosalie graduated from Zion Bible Institute (now Northpoint Bible College in Haverhill, MA) and later received a Master’s degree in journalism from Regent University and a second Master’s in practical ministry form Northpoint Bible College and Graduate School. She loved Jesus, studying the Bible, reading, and having conversations with her multitude of friends near and far. Rosalie was a devoted teacher. She proudly worked at Northpoint Bible College for over 18 years and served there as the secretary for Northpoint’s Alumni Association. The entire college community loved her. Rosalie was a very talented writer and had published devotions. She was a loyal, kind, and loving friend who will be deeply missed.

Along with her parents, Rosalie is pre-deceased by her brother, Thomas LoPinto.

Rosalie is survived by her sister, Jeanne Rescigno and her husband Joseph Rescigno; as well as her close friends, David and Kristen Hodge, and their children, Hope, Grace, and Luke. She is also survived by her longtime close friend, August Meyer, and her beloved cat, Fiddler.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Zion Gospel Temple Church, 70 Leonard Avenue, East Providence, RI. A home-going celebration will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, 150 Newman Avenue, East Providence, RI.
