Rosa Corsetto

As of the latest update, we are able to offer visitation periods and funeral services in the funeral home or at a church. 
·Please be mindful during visiting hours to keep your condolences brief so that others may offer theirs as well.
·Gathering in the lobby is not allowed so that we may adhere to health code mandates.

Rosa (Virzi) Corsetto, 92, of Methuen, MA, passed away October 20, 2020.  Born in Vita Trapani, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Antonietta (Triolo) Virzi.

Raised and educated in Italy Rosa immigrated to Canada and then to Methuen where she married her late husband.  While in Canada, she worked for many years as a seamstress in the clothing industry.  She was an avid bowler in her younger years, enjoyed gardening and was an exceptional cook who loved to watch her family enjoy the fruits of her labor.

Rosa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Corsetto; sisters, Vita and Giuseppina; and her brothers, Luciano, Antonino, Vincenzo, Mariano, and Vito. 

She is survived by her son, Charles Corsetto and his wife Mary of Plaistow, NH; niece, Antonietta Lorefice and her husband Theo of Canada; as well as many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  
At the family’s request, all services will be private.  Entombment will be in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum. Donations may be made in her memory to Merrimack Valley Hospice 360 Merrimack Street, Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
