Ronald G. Howell

Ronald G. Howell, 81, of Methuen passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Manchester, NH and was the son of the late Raymond and Winifred (Clain) Howell.

Mr. Howell was raised in Buffalo and Cortland, NY. He also lived in Old Orchard Beach, ME, Chelmsford, MA, and Florida before moving to Methuen a year ago to live with his daughter. He was a retired salesman and worked for Metropolitan Life and John Hancock Insurance Companies.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Richard Howell.

Mr. Howell is survived by his wife of sixty years, Carolyn (Finnemore) Howell; son, Ronald Howell and his wife Elizabeth of North Chelmsford; daughters, Carol Scribner and her husband Rodney of Methuen and Cynthia Howell of Shutesbury, MA; brother, Raymond Howell and his wife Fay of PA; grandchildren, Rebecca, Ronald, Anthony, Christopher, and Nicole. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend services at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Laurel Hills Cemetery in Saco, ME.
