Robert J. Wilder, Sr.

Robert J. “Bob” Wilder, Sr., 88, of Methuen, MA, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2020, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He was born in Lawrence on September 19, 1932, to Richard and Charlotte (Dobson) Wilder.

For years, Bob worked construction and then as a truck driver for Central Metal Finishing for thirty years, until his retirement. He enjoyed working in his garden and spending time with his family.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Ester, his home health aide for all of her care.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lucille (Cricchio) Wilder, in 1989.

Bob is survived by his children, Robert, Jr. of Methuen, Linda and her husband Gilbert of Methuen, John and his wife Kathleen of Danville, NH, William and his wife Michelle of Methuen, James and his wife Tracey of Salem, NH, and Susan and her husband Emanuele Marchese of Hampstead, NH; and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
