Robert D. Roche

Robert D. Roche, 76, of Lawrence, MA, passed away December 22, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. Born in Woburn, MA, he was the son of the late Edward and Lillian (Chute) Roche.

Raised in Woburn, Robert was a graduate of Woburn High School. He worked as a manager for BTU Engineering in Billerica for twenty-eight years and retired from Phillips Medical in Andover where he assembled heart monitors. He also served with the U.S. Army.

Robert was a great man. He was kind, generous, loving, and funny. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. Robert was a devoted family man who loved all Boston sports. He never missed one of his children's sports events. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Robert also enjoyed playing video games and taking care of his pet parrot, Larry Bird.

Predeceased by his sisters, Gail Roche and Carol Daniels, Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn (Malone) Roche; his children, Jeanne Roche of Methuen, Robert Roche and his wife Maureen of Kansas, and Scott Roche and his wife Kyla of Litchfield, NH; his sister, Phyllis O’Neil of Methuen; his brother, Edward Roche and his wife Joanne of Center Conway, NH, and his grandchildren, Rachael, Samantha, Zachary, Nathan, Ashlyn, Liam, and Madison. He also leaves nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen.
