Robert G. Peters

Robert G. Peters, 67, of Methuen, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 in Newburyport. Born and raised in Methuen, he was the son of the late George and Evelyn (Faria) Peters. He received his education from the New Hampshire University and was a computer operator for many years for the IRS.

An an avid outdoorsman, bicycling was Robert's passion. He was a beach-goer and loved nature. He was very passionate about music and loved playing the piano. In addition, he was a man of faith who always read the bible. Robert will always be remembered for being very kind and friendly, and loved socializing with older people.

Robert is lovingly survived by his uncle, Louis Peters of Methuen; cousins, Pamela Pellegrino of Methuen, Janice Peters of Williamsburg, VA, Patricia Paleno-Quarles and her husband, Steven of Georgia, Gary Peters of Florida, Linda Peters of Haverhill, Karen Touma and her husband, Steven of Salem, NH, Wayne Peters of Amesbury, and Christine Sirois and her husband, Steven of Salem, NH; and his very close friend, Michalina Kulik of Sandown, NH.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in the funeral home following the visiting hours. Interment will be held at St. Anthony Maronite Cemetery in Methuen.
