Robert A. Manson

Robert A. Manson, age 74, of East Hampstead, NH, passed away peacefully with his loving wife at his side on Friday, September 20, 2019, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Bordieri) Manson with whom he shared 49 wonderful years in marriage.

Born in Cambridge, MA, one of six children of Arthur and Eva (Baker) Manson, Robert was raised in Cambridge. Following high school, Robert began working with his father, who at the time was a wooden yacht builder. Robert and his father enjoyed working together and Robert felt blessed at the opportunity. Over the years his father shared many of his skills to with Robert and as a result, he became very well respected in the industry, sharing in his father’s success in business.

While not at work, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking rides on his motorcycle with Beverly, the two often escaping to enjoy the beautiful views of the White Mountains, and taking trips to Florida in the winter to enjoy the company of their friends. Robert will be remembered as such a big fan of Nascar racing. He was very knowledgeable of the sport, its driver and car owners. Over the years he gathered quite a significant collection of car models.

In addition to his wife, Beverly, whom he so proudly married in 1969, Robert is also survived by his three siblings, Karen Jacques of Exeter, NH, Laura Slepoy of Salisbury, MA, Allen Manson of Haverhill, MA; and three nephews. He was pre-deceased by his siblings, Stephen and Kathleen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Robert's family beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA with a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
