Robbie Timothy Robinson, 60, of Groveland, MA, loving husband, and father passed away at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center on Thursday, June 17, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Cheryl Robinson.
Born in Haverhill, raised and educated in Groveland, Tim was the son of the late Norman and Janet (Bergeron) Robinson. After graduation from high school, he married his high school sweetheart, Cheryl, in 1980. They settled in Groveland, a town they loved, where they raised their family. One of Tim’s proudest accomplishments was enlisting in the United States Army where he proudly served his country.
Robbie’s career as a chemical technician spanned many years and he was well respected in the industry for his knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic.
Tim, who had a heart of gold, was always there for his family and friends. His trade-mark laugh brightened everyone’s day; that laugh will certainly be missed. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tim’s favorite past times were gardening and cooking for his family and church, Saint James Episcopal Church Groveland. Tim was thoroughly interested in politics and passionately patriotic.
Tim loved his entire family and friends, and there was nothing he would not do for them.
In addition to the love of his life, wife Cheryl, he leaves behind his children, Lindsey DeZenzo and her husband Thomas of Haverhill, Corbin Robinson and his wife Rebecca of Indiana, Trevor Robinson of Groveland; his grandchildren, Joshua, Carson, Cora, and Shaye; his brothers, Keith and his wife Donna, Todd and his wife Jill; his sister, Kandace and her husband Mike; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours for Tim on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. James Episcopal Church, 121 Washington Street in Groveland. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Groveland.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project® | Support Veterans.
