Rita F. Hall

Rita F. (Despres) Hall, 85, of Acton, formerly of Lawrence, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Leo and Florence Despres.

Rita was a graduate of Lawrence High School.  Once she started her family, they lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ and Pompano Beach, FL before returning to Lawrence, MA. She retired from Raytheon Corporation where she worked as a missile assembler for twenty years.  After her retirement, she and her late husband moved to Pinellas Park, FL.  She later moved back to Acton, MA where she lived with her daughter.

She was predeceased by her husband, David L. Hall and her brothers, Leo, Raymond, George and Eddie Despres.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Donna Hall of Acton, MA, Bonnie London Hall and her husband William of Hyannis, MA, Nancy Hall of Acton, Pamela Hall of Acton, and Cindy Francisco and her husband David of Lawrence; and her grandchildren, Ashley Hall and Tyler Francisco, who both brought her great joy in her later years.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rita loved visiting Cape Cod and the beach, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devout Catholic with a smile that could light up a room. She will be dearly missed.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 9:30-11:30 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.  Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
