Rita M. DeLuca

Rita M. (Simone) DeLuca, 86, of Londonderry, NH, passed away at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH on Friday, February 15, 2019.

Born and raised in Methuen, Rita was one of four siblings, born to the late William and Connie (Littorie) Simone. She was married for forty-seven years to the late Anthony DeLuca of Lawrence and proudly raised four children. She worked for many years with her son in janitorial services at DeLuca and Sons. Rita enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Florida with her husband, Anthony, and enjoyed spending time with family. She was a wonderful woman who was happy-go-lucky and everyone she met liked her so much. She will be sadly missed by her family.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Rita was pre-deceased by her siblings, Emily Dizzazo and Frankie Simone.

Rita is lovingly survived by her sons, Darryl DeLuca of Londonderry, NH, Tony DeLuca, and his wife Michelle of Derry, NH and Timothy DeLuca of Hooksett, NH; daughter, Valerie Spezzaffero, and her husband, Dan of Hooksett, NH; brother, William Simone of Methuen; grandchildren, Stephanie DeLuca of Derry, NH, Danielle Spezzaffero and Melissa Libby, and her husband, Christopher, all of Hooksett, NH; great-grand son, Christopher Tyler Libby; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM, in Our Lady of Good Counsel-St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
