Richard C. “Ritchie” Palermo, 59
November 19, 1962 – July 20, 2022
Richard “Ritchie” Palermo, 59, of Lawrence, MA, passed away on July 20, 2022, at Sutton Hill Center in North Andover.
Born on November 19, 1962, Ritchie was the son of the late Charles Palermo and Gaetana (Piazza) Palermo. He was educated in the Lawrence School system and graduated from Lawrence High School.
Ritchie was well liked by all who knew him. He was a fan of Boston sports teams. He enjoyed sharing a pizza with his mom and looked forward to the annual Feast of Three Saints. He had a happy go lucky attitude and was always wearing a smile. He was known by many throughout Greater Lawrence and enjoyed going to many restaurants.
An excellent worker, Ritchie spent much time working at and keeping the Double Tree Hotel cleaned and polished. At home, he helped this family by mowing the lawn, snow blowing the driveway, and running various errands.
Ritchie will be missed and lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and numerous friends, but especially by his mother.
In addition to his mother, Ritchie is also survived by his brothers, David and Michael Palermo of Plainville, MA and Foxboro, MA. He was pre-deceased by his father, and brother, James Palermo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 10:00-12:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Peasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
