Richard L. Guerrera

Richard L. Guerrera, 76, of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, in Boston, MA. Born on May 28, 1945, he was the son to the late Joseph and Aura (Citerella) Guerrera.

Born and raised in Lawrence, Richard graduated from Central Catholic High school and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Merrimack College in Andover. Soon after, he began working in real estate. He owned his own business, Richard Guerrera Realty.

As a young man, Richard enjoyed horseback riding and over the years enjoyed the racetrack, boating and spending time on the golf course.

Along with his parents, Richard was pre-deceased by his siblings, Constance Kaufman and Dr. Joseph B. Guerrera, as well as his nephews, Randy Kaufman and David Guerrera.

He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Kleczkowski and her husband, Mark of Merrimack, NH; grandchildren, Juliana, Jacob, Jillian, Amelia, and Hailee; siblings, Louisa Murdoch and Maria Guerrera; several nieces; and his favorite companion, man’s best friend, Louie.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation hours on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in West Parish Cemetery in Andover.
