Richard J. Faucher, 75, of Atkinson, NH died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Born in Lawrence, MA on November 23, 1942, Richard was the son of the late Rene and Dorothy (Bean) Faucher. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School and received his degree in business administration from Merrimack College. He also served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
Richard had a successful career in the banking industry and had worked at Arlington Trust Company, Shawmut Bank, and Forward Financial. Most recently, he was employed at Auto-Use in Andover. Richard also served as past president for both the Massachusetts Bankers Association and the New England Bankers Association.
Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Lou M. (Doran) Faucher of Atkinson, NH; his daughter, Brenda A. Faucher of Arlington, MA; and his son, Bradford R. Faucher of Waltham, MA. Also, among his survivors are his brothers, Francis D. Faucher and his wife, Maureen of South Yarmouth, MA and Robert T. Faucher and his wife, Joan of Andover, MA. Richard was predeceased by his brother, Thomas J. Faucher.
Family and friends may call on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow, NH. His burial will follow at Atkinson Cemetery in Atkinson, NH.
