Pauline L. Petrosino

On Monday, October 11, 2021, Pauline L. Petrosino, 78, was called home to our Lord and reunited with the love of her life, Rinaldo J. Petrosino, Jr. She passed away peacefully after a short stay at Catholic Memorial Hospital in Manchester, NH.

Pauline was born on January 14, 1943, in Lowell, MA to Eugene and Pauline (Morrison) Canuel. She grew up in North Reading before moving to Methuen, where she attended Tenney High School. She was a longtime resident of Methuen, and former resident of Lawrence, MA. Pauline worked for many years at Germanium Powers in Andover as a supervisor. She married Rinaldo in 1966 and raised three loving children.

Pauline, was predeceased in death by her husband, Rinaldo J. Petrosino, Jr. with whom she shared fifty-five wonderful years of marriage; her parents, Eugene and Pauline Canuel; two brothers, Eugene Canuel and Louis Canuel; and two sisters, Mabel Gauthier and Drella Canuel. 

She is survived by her  daughter, Donna and spouse, Anthony Copani of Atkinson, NH; son, Stephen Rinaldo and spouse, Robin (Haigh) of Methuen, MA; son, Joseph and spouse, Jocelyn (Durkin) of  Haverhill, MA; step-daughter, Christie and spouse, Michael Hodgson of Kansas; step-son, Rinaldo  and spouse, Sandra of Kansas; sister, Louise Canuel and spouse, Raymond Guiffre, of Salem, NH; sister, Marsha Iannalfo and spouse, John of Methuen, MA; four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter; several step-grandchildren of Kansas; and countless nieces and nephews.   

Pauline will be remembered as a selfless, quick-witted and loving individual. She was kind-hearted and always put her loved ones above herself. Pauline was dedicated to her family in all aspects of their lives. She had a quiet strength, never complained and always looked to a better future, but most of all, she was a devoted wife, a loving and generous mother and grandmother, who touched so many lives.

The family wishes to extend deep appreciation to Pauline’s best friend, Stephanie Rodriquez; honorary daughter, Keli Shea; and Allan Musyoki, her personal home care  nurse, who provided extraordinary care.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Street, Methuen.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex Street, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence.
