Pauline D. Leone

Pauline D. (Belanger) Leone, 81, of Salem, NH, passed away early on the morning of Monday, February 18, 2019 at her home. She was born on February 10, 1938 to the late Paul and Adele (Najem) Belanger.

She grew up in Lawrence, MA, the eldest of five children, which is where she met her husband of forty-six years, the late Vincent J. Leone, and raised their son, Vincent P. Leone. For more than twenty years, Pauline was an executive secretary for Raytheon. In retirement, she pursed her passion for singing and joined the Italian Serenaders. She kept fit by walking around town and she loved to visit her local library to find a good book or new recipe to try.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent J. Leone.

Pauline is survived by her son, Vincent P. Leone, and his wife, Michelle of Salem, NH; her step-children, Donna Leone of Atkinson, NH, John Leone of Haverhill, and Thomas Leone and his wife, Barbara of Atkinson, NH; her siblings, Joan Grillo of Andover, Carol Nocera of Methuen, Garry Belanger of North Andover, and Denise Moulton and husband, Richard of Haverhill; beloved grandchildren, Adrianna, Samantha, and Alexis; step-grandchildren, David, Elizabeth, Kristen, and Laura; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Parish, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
