Paula E. McShan

Paula E. (Banks) McShan, 73, of Methuen, MA, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. 
 
Paula was born, raised, and educated in Lawrence, MA. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School and went on to become a dental hygienist, and finally a licensed hairdresser and worked in local hairdressing salons.  Paula was a devout Catholic, always helping those in need. Her number one priority in life was spending time with friends, family, especially her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. They would always be seen together at the beach, school events, soccer games, swim meets, karate, graduations, church and more.
 
Paula was predeceased by her husband, Frank E. McShan, II; father, Chester Banks; and her brother, Sonny Banks.
 
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth (Bonacorsi) Stoodley of FL; son, Frank E. McShan, III and his wife Roseann of Salem, NH; sisters, Pricilla Miller of Manchester, NH, Sharon Brienza of FL, and Debbie DeCola and her husband Arthur of Salem, NH; grandchildren, Frank E. McShan, IV and Ryan P. McShan.  She also leaves stepchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, March 8, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen.  Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 9, 2020, at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen.  Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
