Paul E. Thibault, 92, of Methuen passed away on November 12, 2018 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. Born on December 11, 1925 he was the son of the late Edmond and Reine (Beaulieu) Thibault.
Raised in Methuen, Paul attended Methuen school systems. Paul proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, and was honorably discharged as a Fireman First Class in 1946. He was later employed as an electrician at Western Electric for thirty-five years. Paul’s most treasured moments were times spent with his children and later his grandchildren. He also loved to candlepin bowl, take rides on the shore, most especially in Maine and Hampton Beach, and he loved old trains. He was a loving, compassionate, kind man who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus in Methuen.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie Louise Thibault; siblings, Ernest Thibault, Claire Dalco, Robert Thibault, and Rene Thibault.
Paul leaves his daughters, Nancy E. Wiemers and her husband, Wesley of Peoria, IL, and Linda Annaloro and her husband, John of Derry, NH; adored siblings, Justine Butterworth and her husband, William of Salem, NH, Ernestine Flannery of Rutland, VT, and Normand Thibault and his wife, Betty of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas Annaloro, David Wiemers and his wife, Hannah, and Elizabeth Wiemers; and great-grandson, Phillip Wiemers. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen on Friday, November 16th at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary – Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
