Patricia A. (Brennan) Leslie of Methuen passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Wilson) Brennan.
Mrs. Leslie was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She worked for the Methuen School Department for over twenty-five years and retired as the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Schools. She was also a licensed real estate broker and worked part-time in the real estate business, and she sold Avon products as well. Mrs. Leslie was a daily communicant of St. Monica Church and had a strong devotion to her faith. She taught CCD for over twenty years and also belonged to the St. Monica Ladies Sodality and Women of Grace. She also volunteered her time with the Senior Centers in Methuen and Salem, NH, where she was involved in such groups as Tea and Treasure, Japanese Bunka, Tai Chi and weight training classes just to name a few. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and some of her hobbies included reading, sewing, and organizing trips to various places. Patricia loved flea markets and yard sales and was always on the hunt for her next treasure!
Mrs. Leslie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald R. Leslie.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Wetzel and her husband Randy of Scarborough, ME, Cynthia Leslie of Methuen, Beth Monaco and her husband Frank of Laconia, NH, and Donna Vicari and her husband Joe of Salisbury, MA; brother-in-law, Paul Leslie of Hawaii; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Vincent de Paul Society, C/O St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA 01844.
