Tribute

Patricia C. (Bourgeois) Guertin, 93, of Methuen, MA, passed away April 15, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Alice (Jacques) Bourgeois.

Born and raised in Lawrence, Patricia attended Methuen schools. She and her husband built their home together. She was a homemaker who took care of her children and grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed knitting, crocheting, plants, and her garden. She loved scratching her lottery tickets and her great love of family gatherings especially hosting 4th of July and New Year’s Eve parties. She was a devout Catholic and loved her church.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Andrew A. Guertin; her son, Roger Guertin; as well as many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Andrew R. Guertin and his wife Doris of FL, Veronica Marion and her husband Edward of Methuen, and Rachel Petralia and her husband Mark of Methuen. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Matthew Petralia and wife Kelley, Adam Petralia and wife Susan, Danielle Petralia and fiancé Bryan Genovese, Andrew Michael Guertin and fiancé  Nicole Holcomb Staggs, Kevin Guertin and wife Sherry, Jackie Frederick and husband Jimmy, Christopher Marion and wife Melissa, Nicholas Marion and wife April, Timothy Marion and wife Annie; sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
