Noreen E. Rourke

Noreen E. (Duprey) Rourke, 68, of Methuen, MA, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. She was the loving wife of John M. Rourke for forty-eight years.

Noreen was raised and educated in Haverhill, MA, and was the daughter of the late Domenic and Alice (Littlefield) Duprey. She worked in the seafood industry for many years and retired from Boston Fish Market in 2014. She enjoyed bingo, antiques, and playing cards with her grandchildren. Above all else, Noreen most enjoyed holiday get-togethers, especially Christmas with her family.

Noreen was predeceased by her siblings, Anna Converse, Elizabeth Pappalardo, Donna Moschetti, and Robert Duprey.

Beside her beloved husband, John M. Rourke, she is survived by her two daughters; Julie A. Fortuna and her husband Ted of Methuen, and Jaime E. Rosano and her husband Robert of Methuen; grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas Fortuna, and Olivia, Alyssa, and Ariana Rosano; brother-in-law, James F. Rourke and his wife, Arlene of Methuen. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
