Seeing Nick's photo brought back so many memories of the past. Nick was a good friend to my parents, Mike and Ann Sign. My dad worked with him for the City of Lawrence and also, he got my first husband, John Fiato Sr. a job at the Tribune. After my father passed away, Nick went out of the way to deliver the newspaper to my mom. My condolence to the DeLuca family. R.I.P. Nick

Words can never measure up to the great man Nick was. He was truly an inspiration to all that knew him. He was a great family man and that shows up in his children. They are all very much like Nick. He always had a smile and a pleasant word to say no matter how badly he felt. He loved his children and grandchildren to the moon and back. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for them. You will always remain in our hearts.......May you rest in peace in the hands of the Good Lord, your Father.....\
Love you Nick......

I am so sad for your loss. I have always, and will always, carry some of our best family memories with me. Your mom and dad were the best. They made all who were lucky enough to know them feel welcome and special. I loved them both very much. Rest peacefully Uncle Nick. Give auntie hugs for me. And sending love to your beautiful family.

Your father had many friends in his life and all of us loved him.
He was kind gentle and loving and never caused a fuss. Always easygoing.
A man of conviction and strength, a man to be proud of.
We will miss him.
Rest In Peace Nicky
