Najla Nicolas Hayek, also known as “Imm Tony,” of Auburn, NH, 81, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, on Monday, July 11, 2022. She was the wife of the late Hanna S. “John” Hayek.
Born and raised in Lebanon, Najla was the daughter of the late Nicolas and Kattina Hayek.
Married to her beloved John for sixty years, Najla loved to spend time with him and with her family. After her husband passed, Najla moved to the United States and settled in New Hampshire to be closer to her children.
A kindhearted person, Najla loved everyone and showed them respect, always careful to not offend anyone. Her life centered on her family and she always defended and protected them. She will be most remembered for her loving smile and for the great pride she took in her appearance.
Najla is survived by and will be dearly missed by her children, Antoine Hayek and his wife Laila of Salem, NH, Marie Zaarour and her husband George of Lebanon, Antoinette Eid and her husband Ibrahim of Salem, NH, Liliane Naser and her husband Elie of Salem, NH, Rita Khalil and her husband Khalil of Lebanon, Charbel Hayek and his wife Nehmat of Auburn, NH; many grandchildren whom she loved so much; and her great-grandchildren whom she adored.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at St. Joseph Melkite Church, 241 Hampshire Street, Lawrence, MA. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the church chapel. Burial will follow at United Lebanese Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
