Michael D. Sarcione

Michael Sarcione, 62 of Methuen MA, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2021 from complications of the Covid-19 virus.

Michael was born on January 2, 1959 in Lawrence. He is the husband of Lisa Sarcione of Methuen and the son of Vincent and Denise Sarcione also of Methuen. Michael attended schools in Methuen and graduated from Greater Lawrence Vocational School in the Class of 1977.

Michael loved traveling and spent many vacations with his family on cruise ships enjoying beautiful itineraries throughout the Caribbean. He loved playing poker with family and hosted friendly games on many occasions. Michael's true passion was time he spent with his family. He displayed great affection for every one of them and was often looked upon for guidance and support.

Michael worked 28 years in the medical field as a Central Processing Manager, including the last 15 years at Exeter Hospital where he was well loved by everyone he interacted with, and who he affectionately referred to as his second family.

Michael will be greatly missed by his wife of 33 years, Lisa Sarcione, of Methuen; his parents, Vincent and Denise Sarcione also of Methuen;　his children; Heather Sarcione of Daytona Beach FL, William Dickey III and his fiancé Katherine Quale of Londonderry NH, Tiffany Sarcione and her partner Matt Rodican also of Londonderry. Michael is also "Papa" to six adoring grandchildren: Jacob, Joshua, Dustin, Leah, Ava and Logan.

In addition, Michael is survived by his five siblings and their families; Kenneth and Judy Sarcione, Thomas and Susan Sarcione, Cheryl and George Hatem, Michelle and Roy Pereira, and Lisa Sarcione. Michael is also survived by his sister-in-law, Donna Castricone and his brother-in-law, John Castricone Jr. along with his wife Sharon Castricone. Many nieces, nephews and cousins are also among his survivors and loved ones who will miss his dearly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen, MA. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 1, 2021 at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen. At the request of the family burial will be private.
