Michael P. Muraca
June 1, 1934 ~ February 21, 2019 (age 84) 84 Years Old
Michael P. Muraca, 84, of Seabrook, NH, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 21, 2019 with his family by his side.
Born and raised in Lawrence, Michael was one of three siblings, born to the late Filippo and Grazia (Anzaldi) Muraca. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School and upon graduation, he joined and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. As a jet engine specialist, he served honorably for four years. He then worked as a certified kitchen designer for Home Depot in both Salem, NH and Methuen, prior to his retirement. Michael enjoyed reading, fishing, playing pool, and being surrounded by his family.
In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony Muraco and Matthew Muraca.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Virginia C. (Grella) Muraca of Seabrook, NH; his sons, Christopher Muraca and his wife, Leslie of Nashua, NH, and Eric D. Muraca and his girlfriend, Angela Wallace of Seabrook, NH; grandson, Brandon R. Muraca of Nashua, NH; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Muraco of North Andover. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, especially special cousin, Jan Abate and her partner, Gina Neve of Haverhill with whom he enjoyed many trips; and extended family. He will be sadly missed and remembered by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him as a kind and compassionate individual, a true gentleman.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM in Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex Street in Lawrence. Entombment will take place at St. Mary Immaculate-Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
