Michael J. Duchnowski

Michael J. Duchnowski, 71, of Lawrence, MA, passed away on February 7, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence, on July 8, 1949, predeceased to parents, Frank and Mary (Casper) Duchnowski.

Michael attended Lawrence Public Schools and easily made many friends. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Bruins, Patriots, Celtics and also enjoyed going to the track and watching the horse races. He had a great desire to read and spent much of his time going through books that he enjoyed. Michael loved listening to oldies but goodies on WCAP and was a member of the Howard Associates and the A1 Deli Gang where he would gather with friends to share stories and reminisce about the good old days.

Michael was a constant companion to his father and his brother, Dutch. There was no better loyal friend that ever existed. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his brother, Frank of Lawrence, as well as his cousins in Lowell, MA and Sacramento, CA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation from 9:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen, MA. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30AM in St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
